(NC)—It’s like a sculpture or a gorgeously-lit room: photos don’t do it justice. The BMW 550i Gran Turismo might look curious or even strange in pictures– but standing next to it, it’s much easier to see the point.

BMW’s designers intended to redefine the classic Italian two-door ‘Gran Turismo’ in a unique new four-door interpretation. In doing so, they hope to attract a new customer that’s looking for a modern design that resides somewhere between a sedan and the endlessly-common crossover SUV.

2010 BMW 550i Gran TurismoThe Gran Turismo combines the best elements of a crossover alongside those of a Coupe and Sedan. The resulting vehicle delivers a refined design, higher seating position, increased luggage capacity, and a rear tailgate that can be opened like a sedan or a hatchback.

It’s all executed in a handsome package and the underlying high-style character is closer to that of a coupe.

Of course, ‘coupe’ is the last thing that comes to mind as occupants get seated. Entry and exit require only a lateral slide– no stepping up or down. The 550i GT’s wide body enables generous space at each seat, and wood trim, gorgeous leather and soft-to-the-touch materials greet the eyes and fingertips throughout. BMW X3 Next Generation Powerful Motorsport Car

And now BMW already preparing to produce the other car which is claimed to have a powerful big engine complete with an aerodynamic bodywork, a re-tuned suspension, leather steering wheel, sport seats and xenon headlights just like the M series. If the latest rumor said The BMW M3 series will become next supercharger car while the Z2 as the lightest car with huge engine system, this new X3 series will classified into MotorSport Car. BMW X3 has been scheduled out in Europe for limited edition with targeted price start at $9,227 for the X3 with 150 hp gas engine and $10,047 for the X3 xDrive35d (diesel).
